To some, getting married in a church is a rite
of passage that signifies an acknowledgement and an acceptance of something
greater than yourself. Many couples,
traditional and non-traditional alike, feel strongly about officiating their
ceremony in a church. Lucky for those
getting married in Miami, there are many options to choose from when considering
a perfectly special and beautiful location.
Of course, there are those churches that are more
in demand than others. I’m happy to share with you this week my favorite church
locations for a memorable and romantic ceremony.
The Plymouth Congregational Church is an
absolute gem in Coconut Grove. This 100-year-old
church is not only beautiful but historical as well. Visiting this location,
you can’t help but admire the coral rock walls, manicured lawns, and if you’re
lucky, majestic peacocks. This location
is perfect for breathtaking pictures and for capturing the very essence of
romance. If you are searching for the perfect place to have your ceremony, make
sure this special venue is on your list.
Coral Gables Congregational is conveniently
located in the heart of Coral Gables close to the iconic Biltmore hotel. The best way to describe the feel and energy
of this lovely venue is Spanish Colonial. It is also one of the oldest churches in Coral Gables, and it has the
delightful charm of the area to match. This church comes with a long aisle,
ample parking, and a bridal suite. Trust
me: it is a looker, and it should be considered when you are thinking of
churches to get married in the South Florida area.
